Music moves the streets of the Capitol. The buzz, whiz, whirl of the city soundtrack plays on against syncopated rain drops beating half time to the march of the crowd. Mission driven. Trading fours. The clickety-clack of footsteps over pavement. Sirens scream over laughter. Laughter echoes over the soft drizzle on the blacktop. Walk. Skip. Run. Weave through the raging engines moving at snail’s pace. Each moving in time to our dreams, passing each other in the crosswalk, hitting detours, yet keeping pulse with the city beat.
