Fellow movie-goers: The absolute BEST edge of your seat movie that has come on in the last few years.

Here is the premise: Rocky, a young woman wanting to start a better life for her and her sister, agrees to take part in the robbery of a house owned by a wealthy blind man with her boyfriend Money and their friend Alex. But when the blind man turns out to more than they can handle, the group must find a way to escape his home before they become the victims.

Director and co-writer Fede Alvarez does everything right in this thriller, the writing and directing was very key in DON’T BREATHE, if one thing is off then the whole house of cards would fall but luckily everything worked like a well-oiled machine.

The acting was great, although I thought Daniel Zovatto was just a tiny bit over the top as Money, but that is just me being picky. The cast worked well together, that is kudos to the Director and to the actors, who seemed like they were true friends and had years of history with each other. I was really impressed with Jane Levy, who plays Rocky, she had to cover several different emotions and range throughout the film and she aced it.

I highly recommend DON’T BREATHE, full price, matinee, whatever works for you; but go see it.
