Incredibles 2 Review

Fellow movie-goers: It took 14 years for the sequel, and it was so worth it.
8 Plot: Great script, new while carrying on from the first story.
9 Acting: Kudos all around, top notch acting.
9 Directing: Brad Bird does an awesome job bringing back our favorite hero family.
8 Cinematography: The action scenes are so good, you forget it is a cartoon.
7 Pacing: Never dull, picks up where they left off.
8.2
Here’s the premise:  The sequel picks up where the first left off, Superheroes are still illegal. When Helen (Elastigirl) gets an offer that may change this, Bob (Mr. Incredible) is left to care for Jack-Jack and his new found powers.
Director/Writer Brad Bird has hit another super-home run with the second installment about a family of Superheroes. The story is perfect, bouncing off the first movie, and continuing the ban on Superheroes story, as well as moving Jack-Jack as a main focus with his powers (this makes for a the best and funniest scenes in the movie.)
Brad Bird again blends comedy, drama, and action with expert precision, and none of the fore-mentioned areas suffer in the least. All the favorites are back along with some new Superheroes, and a budding Superhero Jack-Jack, who steals the show. The action sequences are fun and exciting, you sometimes forget you are watching a cartoon. The dialogue is sharp and witty, and the humor is as good, if not better than the original.
This is a fun family film, and a perfect film for Father’s day. I highly recommend INCREDIBLES 2, you and your family will love it.
