Fellow movie-goers: Bourne is still awesome, great action and decent story drives the newest film.

Here’s the premise: Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) is drawn out of hiding when intriguing facts about his life start to surface; meanwhile CIA Director Robert Dewey (Tommy Lee Jones) is working hard to bring Bourne in for his own personal reasons.

Being the fifth movie in the Bourne series (fourth one with Damon), I would think it would start getting old, but it doesn’t at all. Damon still does a bang up job and there is still plenty of action, intrigue, mystery, and a few car chases to boot. The addition of Tommy Lee Jones is awesome, he brings his quiet swagger to the role of the CIA Director Dewey and truly commands the audience attention when on screen. The movie works in most levels, leaving you with a little more information on this mysterious CIA operative but also leaving you wanting more.

My only real complaint about the movie is the last chase scene seemed to drag on way too long; while I love a good car chase, there is a limit to the length of said scene and I believe Bourne hit that line. This long scene does not ruin the movie in the least, just makes you want to look at your watch during that few minutes.
