Here is the premise: Diana (Gal gadot), princess of the Amazons, has been trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot (Chris Pine) crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers and her true destiny as WONDER WOMAN.

When it comes to superhero movies, Marvel has had the formula down for quite a while; the success of THE AVENGERS and all the other movies leading up to it were crazy stupid. DC tried to answer the call with BATMAN V SUPERMAN, but came up short; ironically, the best thing about the BATMAN V SUPERMAN was Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman; and that paved the way to the success of this movie. Everything about Wonder Woman was done right, I was happy all the way around and this was a very solid film in all aspects.

Gal Gadot embodies Wonder Woman, she not only has the looks but she is a true badass and holds her own against all others in the film. Gadot does an amazing job and commands the starring role from the start; Chris Pine was also a great choice and he and Gadot have a great chemistry on screen. I really loved Robin Wright as Antiope, the Amazon who trains Diana as a child and into her adulthood, I have never seen Wright before as a warrior, but now I do.

The movie never slows down; it grabs your attention from the start and never lets you go. The action scenes were done perfectly and the mix of slow motion and fast in your face action made the film even more fun.

I highly recommend WONDER WOMAN, go see it on the big screen; you will not regret it!
