Texas Writers Month Featured Writer: Attica Locke

As much strife and chaos as the Lone Star State constantly dishes out to us, it’s sometimes hard to see the good things that still remain, the great people of Texas who make you proud to claim the state. So, this month, we’ll help bring some light back into these gloomy days. This May, during Texas Writers Month, we will be featuring renowned authors and screenwriters who are native to or currently residents of Texas. Our first writer is a Houston native who has written and created some of the most critically acclaimed shows within the past few years as well as authored multiple bestselling novels, Attica Locke.

Attica Locke is a highly acclaimed writer known for her captivating storytelling and insightful exploration of social issues. Born in Houston, Texas, Locke’s literary career has been marked by critical acclaim and commercial success.
