bScene’s Black Films Coming to the Big Screen: May Spotlight

Capital City Black Film Festival is proud to bring you this monthly highlight of films with Black casts, Black crew and telling Black stories. Here’s May’s Black Films Coming to the Big Screen spotlight:

Breaking In

This thriller stars Gabrielle Union as a mother who takes her two children on a weekend getaway to an excluded estate.

When four men break into the house, trapping Union outside and her children inside, she enters a desperate fight to save them. This film drops May 11.

Avengers: Inifinity War

We’ll see some major Black actors and actresses appearing in Marvel’s Avengers: Infinty War, including Chadwick Boseman as “T’Challa,” Tessa Thompson as “Valkyrie,” and Idris Elba as “Heimdall.”

While originally set to release in May, the film drops just right before on April 27, but the Black Panther is making an appearance. We had to shout him out.
