Chaos Walking Review

Fellow movie-goers: Promising premise but fell short for me.

Here’s the premise: In the not-too-distant future, Todd Hewitt (Tom Holland) discovers Viola (Daisy Ridley), a mysterious girl who crash lands on his planet, where all the women have disappeared and the men are afflicted by “the Noise” – a force that puts all their thoughts on display.

Great actors (who did decent in this film); Awesome and unique premise, and then…that’s it!!!

I was so bored with the movie, my mind kept drifting off; it was like they were taking bits off of old TV shows and making fun of them.

To be fair, the cinematography was excellent and to be honest, I never read the book, but I expect a movie from a book to be done so I do not have to have read the book. I hate to pan a movie, I usually like bad movies better than most, but I just could not get past the many flaws in this one.

Save money and see it when it goes to a service where you can see it for free.
