Here is the premise: After a huge drug bust that yields more horrors than she expected, an idealistic FBI agent (Blunt) is enlisted by an elected government task force to aid in the escalating war against drugs at the border area between the U.S. and Mexico. She soon realizes she may be way over her head and her loyalties are questioned.
I enjoyed SICARIO, the action was great, the acting was top notch, and the plot will really make you think about everything you know or think you know about the war on drugs. There are a quite a few actors that impress in this film (Emily Blunt, Benicio Del Toro, Josh Brolin) but the real star of SICARIO is the cinematography, skillfully done and most of it very eerie. My only complaint of the film is that I wanted more story and character building, you know very little of why some of the characters do what they do; but then again, maybe that is not as important in a movie like SICARIO.
