We all (mostly) love a good fireworks show, and Austin and its surrounding cities put on great free events each year. So, whether you celebrate 4th of July or not, we wanted to gather a list of places to see the fireworks and to celebrate the holiday, if you choose.
*We do understand that with the tragic incident at the Juneteenth event in Round Rock last month, you may be leery of crowds or public gatherings. So please do what is best for you and your mental health and safety.

Park Your Car
Not big on crowds or don’t want to be stuck in traffic afterwards? Find a parking lot or even a field, sit on the hood or trunk of your car (or even better, the tailgate of your pickup), and look all around. You’ll be able to see multiple fireworks displays at the same time. It’s actually pretty beautiful.
